Spain takes the title at the Men’s Mediterranean Championship 2022 edition

The 2022 edition of the Men’s Mediterranean Handball Championship has ended, with Spain lifting the ultimate prize with a win over Egypt.

The Men’s Mediterranean Championship in Turkey, Ankara, has finished after six days full of handball actions. Spain was the most successful one, winning the Championship in final match agains Egypt with the result 40:29 (12:5,15:12,13:12). In the bronze medal match Montenegro has lost to Croatia with 18:30 (4:10,6:8,8:12).

In the fifth place match, Romania celebrated over Greece with a narrow result of 28:26 (12:9,7:8,9:9). In total, more than 40 matches have been played over the course of six days, and here is the ranking of the most successful teams:

3. Croatia
4. Montenegro
5. Romania
6. Greece
